Canibad Beach Resort in Barangay Aundanao Samal Island is a great place

City plus a 10 minute walk downhill before you reach the Canibad Cove

It is one of the beach resorts which is less developed, guests should
not expect to perceive classy restaurants and air-conditioned rooms. For
those who want to stay overnight at the beach, it is advisable to bring
a tent with you, cottages are also available for around P200 pesos per
night. Since there are no restaurants in the resort, cooking your own
food in designated areas is a good idea.
